standing up in crib!!!

My 9mo old is standing up in her crib every time she wakes up. I know it is a skill but it scares me!! She used to talk herself back to sleep at night if she woke up but now she justs pulls herself up and waits for me. So worried she could fling herself out of there, maybe just paronoid!?

My son fell out of his crib this past tues, apparently climbing over the railing! I was on a walk, my husband was home... he said he heard a thud, and found our son lying on the floor!!! Of course when I got back we rushed him to his doc, he is fine, I think it rattled me more than him, he is such a climber and dare devil already, I'm gonna be in sooo much trouble :)

my son pulls him self up and the day he started it is the day my husband and i moved the crib down to the lowest position.. only his little head goes over the edge so im not worried about him falling out yet..just crawling out now!!

Both my girls have been doing that for a while now I can not remember when it started. We have the mattress at the lowest setting and we also have removed all items from the cribs except the sheets and the one blanket that they each have.. We also have about 1 foot between their cribs so that they can not use each other to get out. I never sleep soundly the littlest stir from either of them and I am awake looking at the cribs making sure that they are ok. I had to laugh the other night Alex sat up in her crib reached out and grabbed her water bottle and started sucking on it and fell back to sleep sitting up..

My son does that , the mattress is on the lowest setting and he cant climb out .
He does think it is hilarious to stand up and then fling himself backwards !

At about 81/2 moths Kaden "climbed" out of his crib! The mattress is as low as it can go and he does not have bumpers up. They are amazing little people. I have two teenage boys and they NEVER came out of thier crib. Every child is different so good luck.

My son will pull himself up in his crib when he wakes up or if i put him in it for a nap and he is not ready to sleep....i lowered his matress to the lowest that it can go and he can just barely chew on the top of the railing....and i don't think that she would be able to fall out as long as the matress is as low and it can go.......good luck.....

My son does that to so we just lowered his matress so the rail was barely higher than his head.
