Birth Control Options

I have bc alabama local government group and it only covers 1 type of birth control the pill and only 12 brands none of which are mini pills (recommended for breastfeeding). I am trying to decide on paying for a mini pill or trying and iud such as paragard (recomended for breastfeeding). What types of BirthControl do you guys use? Has anyone had trouble with milk supply on birth control?
Any thoughts or suggestions are welcomed....

i have paraguard and love it. i don't feel it, insertion was uncomfortable but bearable, i talked to the assistant through the whole thing. the only side effect i have had is heavier periods, but i think its a small price to pay for not having to worry about getting pregnant for 10 years.
