My 2 yr old has her pee pee trainng down pat but she is refusing to go poo poo. She will cry until I put a daiper on her or she will just poo in her underwear. HELP, how can I get her to use the potty for #2.

She will do it when she's ready and she understands when it is happening. Zoe decided she wanted to go without knickers for a few days and she went and pooed on the pot because she didn't want to make a mess on the carpet!
We went over the top on celebrating, clapping and cheering, even painted her nails as a reward. Now she does it.
You never think you'll get there but they do. I just totally went with the flow. Sx

I know this may sound a bit odd, but my daughter first learned to poop outside. We are a very active outdoors family and so we are always out in the hills. She would poop outiside but not in the toilet. We also live were we have no nieghboors, so it was no big deal to me for her to go out side at first. I was just happy she was out of diapers.

We used treats as rewards. A chocolate for poop worked well with us but to start the process I had to keep my daughter without pants or panties/diaper for 3 days. Needless to say, we were at home the whole time. We made a really big deal out of her going on the potty (pee or poop), jumping up and down and clapping. She became really proud of what she was doing and it really helped her to train.

My daughter never had a potty, she used to follow me to the toilet all the time and see me use it so she wanted to be like mum, so i got a little seat to put over the toilet seat and a step so she could climb up and she loved it, she went from mappies one day to the toilet the next day, she loves to flush the toilet and say bye bye to her poo as it gets washed dwn the toilet... kids love doing what ever you do so maybe you could try that and cut the messy potty out all together! Tell her she is a big girl like mum, my daughter loves it when i tell her that!!!
