Just wanted to know what kind of feeding schedule your babies were on. Trying to find the best fit for my baby girl and was needing some suggestions!

Feeding schedule depends on the age of the child. Whether you are giving breast milk or formula, the quantity depends on the age and how much your girl can consume at a time. Diet is different for each baby. If I talk about first year, then here is the schedule, which I used to follow for my baby girl, when she started solids:

6 a.m: milk
8 a.m: cereals
10 am: milk
1 pm: fruits/veggies
3:30 pm: milk
6 pm: cereals
8:30 pm : veggies , usually we have dinner at this time.

It's not easy to follow this routine, as sometimes, my girl used to sleep more than 3 hours , so I skip the timings but always tried to start all over again. Usually, I took 2 hours of difference between each meal. You may get some help from https://www.parentingsquare.com/baby/bab...

7:00am: 6-8 oz. formula + tablespoon or 2 of oatmeal (however much he wants, it varies)

11/11:30am: 6-8 oz. formula + 1/2 jar of fruit

2/3:00pm: 4-6oz. formula

7:00pm 6-8oz. formula + 1/2 jar vegetable & rice or mixed grain cereal

Sometimes I give him a little bit of juice mixed with water as a snack. He eats more some days than others (sometimes he'll only drink 4oz. from his bottle). He seems to eat the most at breakfast and dinner. He's 18lbs and 28 inches.

6:30AM: 6 oz formula

10:30/11: 6 oz formula

3/4PM: 6 oz formula

7PM:8 oz formula

He was 18 lbs at his 6 mo check so we're not concerned about his weight but, he won't eat cereal when we try to feed him (we never had this problem with out daughter). But he did chew on some pineapple this weekend. We use to joke that he would ask for a steak at his first birthday and would just skip the cereal, but we were just joking. Now we're thinking we may not have been far off. My kid doesn't want the mushy stuff. He was REAL solids. Any one have any experience with that?

My daughter gets one jar of solid food three times a day for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I usually follow that jar up with 4 ounces of formula. She also eats 2 6-8 oz bottles in between during the day.

Austin takes his bottles of about 6 oz. every 4 hours for a total of 4 bottles a day (7am, 11am, 3pm, 7:30pm)

He eats cereal mixed with fruit (about 3.5-4 oz) in the morning, has half a fruit and half a veggie for lunch (sometimes all the fruit), and his leftover lunch and another stage 2 food for dinner. He also has about 4 oz. of diluted fruit juice or water from his sippy cup in the afternoon as a snack.

because of medications I take we do a combination of formula and breast feeding and haven't yet started solids since my little one was a preemie. I still feed on demand.

8 am: BF and solids
11: BF
2 pm: bottle (I've started weaning)
5: BF and solids
8: BF then bed
(sometimes) 4-5 am: BF

So basically he eats every 3 hrs during the day then sleeps 9 or 12 hrs at night.

Roman is on formula and solids. He has about 4 bottles a day between 6-8 oz and takes pretty much a whole jar of food for breakfast/lunch and dinner....no wonder he's already 20 pounds! at his 6 month check up the doctor said this is how he should be eating and he's growing proportionately so maybe he'll be a linebacker!

My son is breastfed and still eats about every 3 hours. . . starting with the first feeding at 9am and ending with a 9 pm feeding. (he does eat at 5am and go back down though) So he eats at 9, 12, 3, 6, 9 and 5am. This worked out great before but I am starting to feel like we should be spacing this out more now. But I'm worried he wont get the milk he needs then
