Is anyone else feeding these to their Oct baby? If so, how do you do it? (whole, half, tiny pieces)
I gave my son one of these today broken in half. It is the very first thing that he actually fed to himself. I was thrilled. However, my other half is having a nervous breakdown.
Please help.

I have the same problem with my husband anything new i introduce he hyperventilates which he passes on to me and makes me doubt myself :S ... but now i just tell him to cool it!!!!! and i just sit close to her and watch what she does with new things .... I started by breaking them in half and now she does great with them .... Cherrios are great to and i just wet them down before i gave them to her so she could eat them whole :) when i first gave them to her for a while :)

My daughter loves them so much. She's been eating whole ones for several months now as well as the puffs.

My daughter eats them whole. I put some in a bowl and let her feed herself, she loves them! They dissolve so quickly, she's not going to choke!

I started out giving my son half pieces because he would shove the whole thing in his mouth if I gave it to him whole, but now he has learned to take bites. It is also a benefit that he now has 6 teeth that helps him able to take those bites.

I give Joe those things all the time! I also feed him the puffs and goldfish (baby goldfish) He just loves them!!! His favorite snacks. I bought snack cups from gerber and he can feed himself! He gets the whole thing. No problems them melt pretty quickly....we're actrully eatting gerber grads now....lil at a time not the whole thing he loves to feed our dog. The doctor will prob. tell you it's more then fine to give him things like that. He's gotta learn some how...be sure and bring your other half to appt so he's is reassured!!! Good Luck Keep me up dated!!!

my son also LOVES the crunchies as well as puffs he does not like the gerber fruit snacks. we give him a few at a time while he is sitting in his chair, but he has been feeding himself (with his hands and fingers) for sometime now.. take a breath and let your baby explore!!
Good luck

I started giving those to my daughter a few months ago. Half a piece at first but she got the hang of it pretty fast and now throws a few in at a time. She loves them.

My son loves those things and he is a little piggy he'll try to shove a couple in his mouth. He eats them whole though and we haven't had any problems with him choking on them.

My husband freaks when I give our son stuff ;-) My son eats Gerber Graduate Puffs. They are crunchy like Cheerios but melt in his mouth so he won't choke.

I give them to my babies full pieces. But we are feeding ours regular food ( ground beef, chicken tenders). So they are good with chewing. So tell your other half dont have a breakdown. They get soft fast .

My twins have been eating these for the past several months. We give them the whole thing. They dissolve so quickly but can be a little messy if they drop a piece. Try the wagon wheels, also by Gerber I believe. My kids loved them when at a friend's house.
