Does anyone have advice on weight loss? I loss 30lbs right after my son was born (in October of course) and that was it, but unfortunately I gained 65lbs wihile I was pregnant. I am 33 years old, so I know my metabolism is not like it used to be. I know breastfeeding helps, but I stopped at 3months because I was never able to provide enough, and I always had to supplement with formula anyways.

I have lost 35 pounds with the help of an organic weight loss tea supplement called Mummy magic tea.

Hey Girls! I am just reading through your posts & have to laugh b/c we are all in the same boat. I had my girls 22 months apart ... gained 65 pounds with my first and lost it all plus 8 and then gained it all back :) I started Weight Watchers and LOVE IT!!! I have been doing it since November and have only 8 pounds to go ... I am signed up on-line and don't go to the meetings in store. I am finding the on-line record to be great . It is important to add some exercise to your routine, but WOW is that hard with 2 little ones!!! Good Luck :)

Yeah, the dieting has not been the hard part. It is the working out. I am a stay at home Mom, and I was power walking with my son in a Baby Bjorn... I figured his extra weight would help me burn more calories. However, I had to watch that too now because the Dr. noticed at his 4 month check-up that his cheeks are sun burnt. So I am suppose to be keeping away from the sun. You can't use baby sunscreen on them until they are 6 months. I have looked into a jogging stroller, but they are somewhat expensive for a one income family.

I had my kids 23 months apart. I wanted to lose like 20 more lbs before I got preg again but I wanted another baby more than I wanted to be skinny again. Now I am 40 lbs heavier then I was before I got preg with my second and now I would love to lose the 60 lbs but would be satisfied with losing the 40. I started a work out about 4 days ago and it kicked my butt. The day after I did it the first time I felt like I did after I had my son. I need to stop drinking soda before I will actually see any results. I never really had to work out before I had my babies I was just so skinny that I never thought about dieting and working out but now I really need to cause I still look like I'm pregnant and my son is now 4 months old. I want to try the Acai but IDK if it is ok to use while nursing so I am waiting to start that.

It's so good to hear that I'm not alone. I had my two children 26 months apart with a miscarriage, so I'm at about 40lbs. But I've been active most of my life, had personal trainers, danced and played multiple sports. The key is hard work and watching your food intake and portions. I'm having problems with just having to plan my meals and have the time to work out. But if you can do it, watch your fat intake (keep it to a minimum with butter, oil, etc). Cut out all white foods (sugar, flour, etc). No processed foods (keep cold cuts to a min), dairy (or low fat alternatives). Make sure you eat lots of fruits, veg and fish. But a good guide is the basic food group charts. It's really going back to basics.

As for the working out - get your muscle training in - like a "Body Pump Class" Or doing aerobic exercise with using your own body weight (ie. stepping up and lifting knee up or leg back). Or if you want to do your push ups, sits up, etc....do them first and then do your cardio. You don't need to do more than 45 minutes of cardio a day, but if you can do it 5 days a week would be good. And when you do your cardio - try interval training. For example if you are on treadmill - run for 5 minutes at a good pace, then put it a steep incline for one to two minutes. and then go back to running for 5 minutes. Another hint is to vary your cardio and keep on challenging your body.

Good luck. I'm crossing my fingers I can find the time to work out and have the will power to go on the same diet I'm preaching. :)
