Walking shoes?

I was just wondering what shoes everyone is working with and how much you like them? Kayden has basic Nike tennis shoes and I'm think about buying her Ugg boots for the winter but just because I think they are so cute. We want to get her a good pair of shoes and I was just wondering. Thanks in advance.

If your child is walking pretty well I wouldn't go for the soft leather shoes, but a pair of sturdy walking shoes with ankle support. I took my son to Stride Rite and they measured and fit him for a pair of their SRT shoes. He loves them and walks really well in them!

My kids wear nothing but Robeez. I got a bunch of pears from an outgrown kids sale. I know they sell them at Baby Gap. They can be kind of pricey but I saw some on sale for 15-20$. I have heard that these soft leather shoes are the best for learning to walk. There are also shoes called Pedipeds - soft leather shoes. Don't know where you can find those - they were hand me downs. Babies R Us sells there own version of Robeez.

walmart shoes are working great for daisy, they r just regular old tennis shoes with laces!

I second the love of the Stride Rites! They're so cute and perfectly flexible for learning how to walk. We also have a pair of Pediped that are similiarly flexible but they're still a bit too big. He wears his Stride Rites every day though!

I bought my son a pair of the Step&Stride walking shoes. They are not all that cute but he walks really well in them.
