Potty training and Day care?

I've been trying to train by doing the no diapers and just wearing underwear. But when he goes to day care until he is successfully trained he must wear either a diaper or pullups. Any suggestions on how to work around that?

i find it really funny that so many people say 2 years is young these days. 30 years ago, it was late. :oP
maybe you if you detailed your successes at home and how you're approaching training, they will be more receptive. my son's daycare provider is from iran (persian), so she doesn't mind the early training, as she is used to the idea. one of the helpers is a grandma, so she also trained her kids before 2 years.
expect some setbacks when he starts at daycare. it took a while for our son to be comfortable with going at daycare. it took a few months for him to be consistent at home and at daycare.

ok thanks! I'll look into that ... The day care said they potty train. I tell them that I'm potty training than they give me well he is only two he is still young. But he understands and goes fine for me at home. I still didn't get him to poop on the potty but I don't want to keep delaying it. I feel like all the work I do at home is being wasted when he goes to day care. I guess I have to keep talking to them about it

hm...

most daycares will try to work with you, because the child will respond and learn faster when things are consistent.

would the daycare provider be open to training pants? there are some that are cloth inside but waterproof outside. your son will still know he is wet, but it will be easy for the daycare provider to just change him and put the soiled training pants in a bag. depending on the brand and your needs, they can be economical or pricey (as with all things).
