How to tell a pregnant friend/family member about the warning signs of preeclampsia?

Greetings everyone, I was wondering how to tell some of my friends/fam members about what to watch out for/ signs of preeclampsia without scaring them. Often a friend will ask me what I went through and I don't want to tell her because I think it will scare her - in that she would fear it would happen to her. I'm not saying every prego friend/fam (large family), will get preeclampsia, but I would like to kindly let them know about warning signs. Any ideas/ advice? ty ty :)

I stress about this too - I want people to know about HELLP but I don't want to scare them because it probably won't happen to them. I just make sure I talk to my friends (all of whom know what happened to me) when they ask questions ... and if someone complains about a pain I always encourage them to talk to their doctor!

frequent headaches blurred vision maybe? i dont know it seems by the time you notice any symptoms its to late and you have to rush to the hospital. i think maybe the best thing to do is suggest they buy an at home blood pressure moniter and check themselves a couple times a day or maybe if theyre feeling weird.
