I dunno if it is hormones or what...but the last couple of days I feel super overwhelmed, and short tempered. I am a person who is in complete control of my moods and temperment , but now I feel like a crazy woman lol. No not really crazy just filled to the brim with mixed emotions. I know its just the pregnancy and my body getting geared up to have this baby. I just really don't like feeling this way and I don't want it to affect my daughter. I am a stay at home mom and with her 24/7. She is going through some emotions herself knowing the baby is coming soon and I don't want her to feel neglected. She is up my butt all the time and sometimes I just want to be left ALONE! HAHA motherhood : ) Are you having any of these problems? This is all new for me since this is my second child....I've never had to deal with any of this before. I try to do Yoga, excersise and meditate when I can which helps. Any other advice or stories you could share?

Oh I so hear you Denise. My husband has nick named me the frumpy, crabby, cranky cow! I feel so sorry for my daughter who is 1, my hubby and my poor old dog. I just yell all day. I know I shouldnt and I really dont want to but I am so exhausted and frustrated that I really cant control my moods.

I have just found out that I am really aneamic and have been put on iron tablets but as yet these tablets havent really made any difference to my energy levels. I have tried modifying my diet to include a lot of vitamin c foods and lots of red meat and iron rich vegies but to no avail!

All I have tried to do is to accept that I am pregnant, tired and stressed (I am also doing full time uni) and that when I have a day with my daughter I just focus on making it a good day and ensure she is having a good time with lots of fun. I try and get out of the house and do a nice outdoor activity - making sure it is fun for both her and I. If you are having fun it is hard to be cranky. :-) someone told me that a couple of years ago and I now try to live by that mantra.

I hope that you start feeling better - I am not sure how far into your pregnancy and if it is early then the 2nd trimester might treat you better. I have 8 weeks to go and oh mamma I can not wait for this bub to be out....

Good luck

Cheers

Nic

I feel the same way :) Being pregnant is a hard thing to go through, all the changes your body is always going through on a daily basis... and then the older one you worry about how they're going to react, etc.. b/c they're not the baby of the family anymore.
