Hi, I can't see when you posted this. Hope you are ok and everything is going well.
I started bleeding at 9 weeks and went to hospital even they told me to sit and wait. They did scan there - baby was alive and kicking. I'm in and out of hospital throughout my pregnancy and now reached 30 weeks today. My Ob put me on progesterone tablets straight away to slow down the bleeding.
Let me know if you have any more questions.Happy to help.

I started bleeding heavily at about 11.5 weeks. I was terrified and rushed to the ER, baby was alive and kicking. I was sent home on pelvic rest and told to take it easy and make an appt with my regular dr, so I scheduled one for nearly a week later as the receptionist stated that I would be fine and refused to schedule it any earlier. Well, about 4 days or so later I began gushing blood even heavier than the first time! Back to the ER since it was like 9 pm, again, baby was alive and kicking around in there, I was amazed that the baby could survive that much bleeding! I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma, they saw a good sized bleed at the edge of the placenta, where it had appearantly seperated slightly. I saw my doctor and they put me on weekly check-in type appts to make sure baby was doing ok and referred me to consult with a perinatologist. I have continued to bleed almost everyday, to varying degrees, since and even had another extremely heavy bleed that lasted about 24 hours. I was even placed on modified bedrest at about 13 weeks and told if the bleeding increases to go on strict bedrest until the bleeding lessens. I am now 18 weeks and we found out we are having a boy at the last ultrasound! The SCH continues to grow and is now considered huge and the peri tells me all the time that I am likely to miscarry, but the baby is still there, growing just as he is supposed to. I hear many more success stories than those of loss. So make sure to keep your head up and see your doctor as often as you feel necessary.
