All apologies...

Greetings Ladies,

Just wanting to pass along my sincere apologies for being "absent" from the group the past few weeks. My grandmother, namesake (we both share the name "Cleo"), and wonderful woman of God broke her back from a horrible fall. At the drop of a hat, my mother and I flew out to New Orleans to be with her and my Aunt (whom she lives with). Her surgery went well; PRAISE GOD! And she's currently in full-time rehab. I am still reeling from all that I learned, about my personal walk with Christ, during our short visit. And oh, how I praise His Holy Name for allowing me some precious time with her. Living almost 1000 miles apart from family is difficult, at best. Especially when the family member on the other end is the one who put you on the path with Christ at a young age. WITHOUT DOUBT, I owe my spiritual salvation to the Lord...I owe my "Memaw" a committed love for allowing Him to work through her.

And Heather, a H-U-G-E "thank you" and warm cyber-hug for being so active within this group: starting posts, welcoming new members and encouraging us all. His light shines brightly within you, my Sister. I consider myself most blessed to have you onboard. :)

Standing on His Promises,

I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother! But what a blessing that you were able to go and be with her! We did miss you while you were away, and glad to have you back.

Thank you for your encouragement, it is so wonderful to have fellowship with other Christian ladies. This group has been a blessing to me.

Looking unto Jesus,
