How about quick intros to generate some discussion here?
what part of the world you are in? What does your family look like? What is the best part about being a queer parent? What part of queer parenting do you need the mos support around?

My intro:

I'm pregnant with my first, 2 years and 2 donors later. I was a total DIY (do-it-yourself) inseminator, so please feel free to ask any questions about at home inseminations with fresh sperm.

I am in a long term relationship (5.5 years) with a gender queer live-in partner. We transitioned to poly one year ago and I still have lots to learn here, as well as much to share if anyone is looking for/offering poly family support.

Despite having a live-in partner, I am on the path of single ma by choice. Ze will certainly be a big player in the kiddo's life, but such relationship should "not to be interpreted as co-parenting"-Ha!!

Yup we are creating a "Partnership NON Co-parenting Agreement"!! It has been helpful thus far in imagining how this is all going to work, so if anyone is interested in this process I'd love to have parents to talk about this with too!

Lets see, I want to be sure to answer all the questions I originally posted. Oh yes, I live in the Northeast, Western Massachusetts to be specific.

And thus far my favorite part of being a Queer Parent is being able to create a family structure that really works for each individual--NOT one created based on socialization, brainwashed expectations or fear of rocking the hetero-normative boat!!!

Creating queer family models!! NOT limiting our families to hyper normative models, that just happens to include queer people!! WE ARE DIFFERENT!! We should embrace and celebrate that!!
