SHE IS 8 YEARS OLD AND HER AND THIS ATTITUDE IM TRYING TO STAY CALM BUT IT GETS TO ME. WHEN I TELL HER SOMETHING AND SHE DOESNT WANNA DO IT SHE POKES HER LIP OUT AND STOMPS AWAY. SO I HAVE TO STOP AND BREATH BEFORE I HURT HER

i know just what you mean, my 7 yr old is full of attitude. i dont want to break her spirit and i want toalways be comfortable to speak her mind but where does it end? what do i do?

LOL are you sure we aren't raising the same kid??

Mine is 7 and started the attitude thing early. At 3 we got the stomping down the hall yelling' you are ruining my life! "

We only just ( and it worked!) informed our daughter that in order to have privileges ( nice things, tv, toys etc ) they must be earned. No more A+ lifestyle and D- attitude. We stripped her room and left clothes and her bed. That's it. Brutal I know, BUT...No books, tv,toys, nothing. She was able to earn one thing back per day by her attitude and helping ( dishes, laundry, dusting, etc ) If she slipped up and sassed, that was it, no second chances. Start again tomorrow. It took about a week, but then she knew we ( finally ) meant it. Worked for us. Good luck! I feel your pain LOL
