Pasta With Creamy Spiced Chicken
- A warmly seasoned pasta dish topped with chicken and mushrooms in a thickened cream sauce. Each bite offers the perfect blend of flavor and texture.
Ingredients
- 2 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 Pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast, Cubed
- 1 1/2 Tsp. Salt - Adjust to Taste
- 1/2 Tsp. Thyme
- 1 Tsp. Rubbed Sage - Adjust to Taste
- 1/4 Tsp. Onion Powder
- 1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper
- Pinch of Red Pepper - Adjust to Taste
- 8 Ounces Mushrooms, Sliced
- 4 Green Onions, Chopped
- 3 Cups Heavy or Whipping Cream
- 1 Pound Thin Spaghetti, Cooked

Preparation
- Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Flat Leaf Parsley, Chopped
- In 12-inch skillet, cook garlic in oil over medium-high heat 30 seconds.
- Add chicken and next six ingredients; cook until lightly browned, about 3 minutes
- Add mushrooms, stirring over high heat to reduce liquid, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in green onions; cook 1 minute more.
- One cup at a time, add cream, boil on high heat until slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes each cup; if necessary, boil an additional few minutes once all cream is added.
- Combine chicken and cream mixture with pasta in serving bowl.
- Top with Parmesan and flat leaf parsley.
- All ingredients can be adjusted to taste.
