I have a feeling that after this is pushed through the next thing on the agenda is going to be immiraton reform, o man, my country, the great USA, is in dire straits, lord help us all!!
P.S.

I don't know why people are for this, but what I find alarming is that you can not have a discussion with people who are for it. if you try to bring up the care in Canada or other countries with socialized medicine, the response is, 'it won't happen here"...how do you figure that? The other reaction you get when you discuss this issue is that you are cold and have no feelings for those without healthcare...not true!

There are so many ppl. that ae so blinded by the "one" it's sad and it just makes you wonder what kind of people they are in everyday living. I know this one guy is who is extremely young like 22 and he was telling me the other day how excited he is for this health care bill to pass, well last night he im'ed me asking if I was mad, and I said well depends what you're asking..he wanted to know if I was mad that the health care bill passed and of course I said yes but I'm not really mad just disapointed and he asked why then I proceeded to tell him how I felt about the healtcare bill then he said he had a backache and I jokingly said well if the health care bill passes you can get a chiropractor like 6 months down the line and someone will decide whether or not your backache is important or not..well he got mad and signed off, lol not a goodbye or nothing...I hope I made him think about it! Why are so many people up for this?

This is so crazy, I don't think our country even looks like America anymore. What happened to land of the free and home of the brave. Everyone is so worried about having to actually get off their duff and pay their own bills that they are signing their freedoms away just so they can get by without having any responsibility.

We need to fight for our freedoms, and that includes the freedom to choose our own Dr.'s and choose what kind of treatment we get when we are sick. If this healthcare goes through, you can kiss that freedom goodbye, along with the freedom to eat whatever you choose, exercise however much you want. Just think about it, if the government is in charge of paying your medical expense, then think about everything they will try to change to make you less expensive for the system. Not only that, look at how they have bankrupted every governmet run program imagineable. SERIOUSLY!

Yeah I hear ya, I used to be an EMT and a CNA and was thinking of going back to school in the coming year to become a nurse, but hmmm, I dunno, the nurses are working hard right now as it is and I can just imagine what will happen to nurses later down the road if the senate approves the health care bill! O my, scary thought!

I can just see nurses having to double up on their work, because clinics, hospitals and nursing facilities won't be able to afford to hire CNA's to help with the work load.  Not only that, but they may not even be able to hire enough nurses, meaning that they may have to work double shifts just so that there is someone there to do the work.  I was thinking about becoming a Nurse Pactitioner and I'm rethinking that.

I watched this last night and almost cried. I work in the healthcare profession and I'm extremely worried for my job. I enjoy my work and I'm worried that the quality of care is going to go down.

This is just the beginning to the end of the USA.
