Any suggestions on dealing with my 5 year old daughter peeing her pants sometimes and ignoring it?

My 5 year old daughter has been peeing her pants about once a day lately and then running around in it. It's usually when she's been playing a lot and seems to be ignoring her body. I've done setting potty breaks for her but it still seems to be happening. Any suggestions?

My 6 year old son does the same thing! And when I notice he just says he didn't know, he didn't feel it or he wanted to finish what he was doing. I also have done the set time to go to the toilet, and he whines and argues until he is blue that he doesn't need to pee. But I tell him to go and just see what might come out, and sure enough he says he was only joking. I now check him regularly and if he has wet himself I get him to clean himself up (as I oversee) and tell him that takes away his play time. At first he got really mad and sat on the bathroom floor for about 20 minutes. But he soon realized I was firm and consistent. I'm not angry with him when he pee's his pants, but i make sure he knows it's not good. hope it helps :)
