You don't have a spot for mine.

I am raising my family to believe in God, and behave in a charitable manner, to be good people, and in general have all the good qualities that *most* religions preach.

However, I am NOT religious, I do not go to church except for weddings and funerals. I have my own belief in God, I worship, I pray, I live my life as best I can, I give generously of myself to others, and I am an all around good person. I do not feel the "need" to go to church where I find mostly hypocritical people who are seventh day christians. They go about their regular lives for 6 days of the week, and are openly pious and religious on one day, thinking that it makes up for the rest.

I'd rather live my life my way, and the way that God shows me than live the way they do.

If my children choose to attend services at an actual church, they are more than welcome to do so, and all they have to do is tell me they want to go. They've been to a few services in a few churches, and came to the same conclusion. People don't observe the belief most of the time. Some do, but most don't.

I have fellowship with people of like minds, I just don't do it in a fancy building with fancy trappings ;-)
