Back to School Shopping

Well this past weekend we finished our back to school shopping for our 2 youngest sons, our oldest graduated almost 2 years ago. My husband and I have been putting it off because going to the mall with a 4 year old and a 10 year can be dreadful, but surprising it was a breeze! We headed out to Brantford to a shoe store. My 10 year old so badly wanted to get Puma running shoes for school, but finding a size 5 has been very difficult, but this particular shoe store is awesome. We found what we were looking for and we were done there in 15 minutes( new record for us). So then we headed back to our hometown(Cambridge) had some lunch and shopped at the mall. my 10 year old is very picky with his clothes. So this year he wanted skinny jeans. We tried 2 stores and at the 3rd store he found exactly what he wanted. So 4 pairs later and some boxers from West 49 we headed out to find my 4 year old a new backpack, lunch bagm socks and underwear. We got everything we needed to have the boys ready for school in less then 3 hours between the shoe store and the mall. So it was actually a refreshing day for us, since my boys don't really like the mall. They made the experience enjoyable and in the end they got to pick out some new lego as a reward. 2 days prior to our shoe shopping and clothes shopping we did our 4 year olds school shopping, so maybe that helped, but we got him 6 full out fits, 2 extra shirts and a hoody in 15 minutes. Who would have thought you could do your back to school shopping so quick and easy! So I hope everyone else who has to still do back to school shopping goes as quick and easy as our did!
