my 6 year old son, has some pretty bad language these days, How do i stop him from using it when it seems to come so fluently out of his mouth?

We use the term adult words in our household. My daughter is seven and anything we don't want her to say becomes an adult word. Maybe give him his own cuss word so when he does stub his toe he is not saying s*&t or worse. Also talk to him about the appropriateness of those words, they are not to be used all the time - there are certain places where thee words are definately not said.

Another option is a swear jar - but instead of money he has to put toys. The way he earns them back is by decreasing his swearing or doing something above and beyond the call of duty (eg extra chores without asking).

dont swear around him as i know it can be hard ! lol but do the old wifes tale ! put soap in his mouth make sure u scrape his teeth so he knows the taste ! or lysterine if u get that over where ever u are ! goodluck ... maybe evan talkin to him would help ! trying to get him to understand that it makes u a lil upset with the language he is using and let him know its not appropriate !
