Daughter in pain, don't know how to help her

My daughter is 4 years old and for the past month has been complaining off and on again of vaginal pain, both inside and out. When this started a month ago she had a yeast infection and was put on antibiotics and diflucan. That seemed to help for a couple of weeks but then she started complaining again. I took her to the doctor today and all they did was a urine culture, which I have to wait to hear the results. I have stopped giving her baths and making her shower only, I switched to dye and perfume free detergent and fabric softner, and I bought toddler wipes in case she wasn't wiping correctly. Last night she woke in the middle of the night screaming and crying from the pain. I hate to see her in pain and don't know what else to do. Has anyone else gone through this?

Ouch that is not good at all. I would check for symptoms and signs.. Is she scratching? Is she Red ? It could be an allergy or it could be something that has gone undetected by the Doctor. Sometimes while treating UTI's with Anitbiotics can actually trigger the unset of another Yeast Infection or It could be a Fungal infection! It could be that the infection was not treated properly the first time around and she may need a different treatment ... Good Luck to you and her .. I would take her back to the Doctor and show them the first Antibiotic she had first.
