As a parent and a teacher, I have stressed to my daughter the importance of listening to people in authority from a young age. I have often found that kids who don't listen at home also don't listen at school. I don't know your situation, but if this is the case for you, then I suggest implementing some things in your home first, and they will carry over to the classroom. I would also ask your daughter what the reason is that she is not listening. If she doesn't respect her teacher, then you and the teacher need to get on the same front and work together. If she's bored, that's another thing. Ask the teacher to maybe give her activities that challenge her in different ways.

The thing I have found that works the best in a home or classroom situation is consistent discipline for not listening. It's the same for my daughter and for my students. If they don't listen, there is a consequence every single time. Eventually, they will get tired of the consequences and just start listening to make their lives easier.

You can't unless you sit next to her desk at school. Speak to her teacher and see if she has any suggestions.
