My kids (boy 7, girl 4) seem to be fighting all the time. They evern manage to have yelling matches when they are separated. Any ideas how to stop this? They are driving me crazy!!

Also, my girl has been whinning alot lately, how can I fix that?

I've found that there is a direct correlation in how you react to the situation to how they will behave. You can't whine at them to stop, you know what I mean? We simply don't tolerate any whining. We have told both of our girls since they could speak (same for the pacifier too) that we 'can't hear what you're saying'. We ask them to take a deep breath and start again. If its whining, in a 'gimme' kind of voice, we don't acknowledge it and if they continue, we tell them that we don't speak that way and that certainly isn't how we act if we want something. From there, they do NOT get whatever it is that they want. Even if they ask politely, they still whined. Tough love, but I swear to you, our kids don't whine anymore. The fighting is usually a sign of boredom. Get them outside to ride bikes or something or get them to sit and read or whatever works best for them. If they're bored, they get anxious and that causes anyone to become snippy and it just gets worse with kids who don't know how to control that kind of emotion. I hope this helps some...

My boys r 8 n 10 and they are always fighting but they are always together stuck like glue, so when they fight I separate them and they get mad because they want to be together, I don't understand that , but I don't think there is a solution to that hopefully they will grow out of that n trust me when they are much, much older they will be is weird..
