I am a cub scout den leader/ cub master and about five other jobs in the organization. I have a parent no one can stand she's a single mother and we all love her son, her however we could leave. She's well pushy. I have my positions because I have the experience and the want to do those jobs, She is a special education teacher which i greatly respect. I have several child development and child physiology credits I didn't finish school due to money issues, she dismisses me a lot. Most recent thing she has done was sit me down after a recent meeting and tell me that it was inappropriate for me to discuss the possible policy change in open forum with children in the room after I announced several times during the meeting that I would be talking about it, she then proceeded to tell me that when I spoke to my boys (and parents) about the shooting at Sady Hook that I crossed a line that Dr. Phill ( I am not a fan if you are I respect that but don't get all bent out of shape) said so. I was upset and left her presence. She proceeded to badger me via text till I explained why I was mad. So I did I have told my parents time and again that we wouldn't do any religious part of the badges in meeting that is the parents one thing I ask them to do, and one meeting while I was ill she took over from my assistant and did it even though my son is not the same faith as her ans she constantly forces her faith on the kids. How do I deal with her because being nice doesn't work...

I live in Montpelier, Vermont. My children are 7 and 8. I have not met any annoying parents yet so I do not know.
