I was just wondering what you think the most important lifeskill for your child(ren) is.

Self direction. I think it is very important for people to know what they need to be doing without anyone needing to tell them, or to decide on their own what to do next. Everything from tiny things, like homework or housekeeping, to major life decisions like college or relocating.

PS, I do agree with the ladies above that love and respect are both very, very important, I just never considered them "skills" to me they are more like values.
