My daughter is 6 years old and it seems like she is always sick.. Were are always at the Doctors and it seems like everytime they give her antibiotics it helps her but as soon as she is finished with the medication she gets sick again.. My daughter is in Kindergarden and she has already missed more than 20 days of school since school started in August.. I'm almost to the point of just pulling her out of school and home schooling her.. I;m to the point that I don't know what to do, the medical bills are piling up and they just keep accumulating...

What is her illness? Have you asked the doctor why it recurs so often? Most generally, if an infection "clears up" on antibiotics and then comes back immediately upon the completion of the prescription, then it wasn't totally cleared up to begin with.

Some infections take more than a zpac or a 10 day dose. When I was growing up, if my antibiotics didn't run for 14 days or more, I was back on them again within a week. If it's sinus infections or strep throat, get her to an ENT physician to see what can be done to help kick the entire mess. Sometimes (although rarely these days) having tonsils removed can help, but they do that only as a last resort.

It really depends, though on what her illnesses are. If your current doctor is not giving you satisfactory answers, you are well within your rights to go for a second opinion as well.
