The best advice I can give is to always let her know that your their for her and that she can come to you any time. Let her be able to try to deal with some emotions by herself maybe she just needs down time by herself. You could also try to talk about it when she is in a better mood after she is done being upset. Then maybe she will be a little more open with you.

Some people just don't like to share their feelings. She may be afraid she'll get in trouble, she may not want to upset you, or she may already have coping skills in place and doesn't need to share. Just let her know that you love her and that if she needs you, you'll be there. Don't push her or she might become frustrated and begin hiding her feelings from you.

You have to start building a trust with her when thing are good and bad. She might feel that you will get mad at her if she tells you things. So you have to spend time with her building her trust in you by comforting her letting your know that you are there for her.Sometime yu have to let her help you with things so that the more you bond with her the more she will tell you things and not just problems but thing that have to do with decisions or everyday life as she get older.Just be there for her when she needs you the most and she will open up. It takes time.
