Hi, I got a four year old boy that is starting school in september. My husband and I are thinking of having another baby because we see that my son is alone. We both work and I also go to school. Do you think it is too soon or should we go for it.

I feel that it is ur choice when and if U have another son is 8 and is my only one, of course I have raised him alone so I didn't really want anymore but now im faced with complications and have to have the option taken from me......I regret that I didn't have another one when he was younger because now I feel that it is to much of an age difference if I have one now....but can't if I wanted to, up coming surgery to have a hysterectomy because of med issues so u do what u feel is best but don't wait until its to late....because before you know it the option may not be yours any longer. Im only 29..........good luck

It's your decision. You and your husband need to come to that decision yourselves. We don't know anything about you and it wouldn't be wise to accept advice about something this important from strangers.

I have about two semesters to go, but the ggod thing is that I have my moms help. But is that sometimes i don't have time to see my son, idk if i would have the time for another babie. I would either have to stop working or put school to the side.

Hello Alma

I wonder first how much school you have left. I recently started back to college myself, and I work as much as I can, because I am a single parent. So, how much time will you be able to give your two children afterwards? I have alot of homework, and I couldn't give another child the time, even if I was still with my husband. Because he has a full time career too. Anyway, if you do have time, the ages are perfect. I work as a preschool teacher and the ages would be good, because your first child is out of the teriible twos, threes and past potty training too. He would probably be a good help too, with another sibling that is. It is a matter of how much time you and your husband can give another child. Think about it.
