Hello, my child has really bad nose bleeds. I don't know what to do!

I would definitely talk to your doctor and see what they suggest. Growing up I had a friend who would suffer from horrific nose bleeds. Like murder scene nosebleeds :P If she had one at night, her entire pillow would be soaked and her bed would look like someone had been slaughtered. It was pretty gruesome at times.
None of the suggestions (moist air, nose drops, etc) worked and they ended up having to cauterize the inside of her nose. She just had super thin veins or whatever in her nose, so any change in air pressure or temperature would set it off.
Talk to your doctor and see what they suggest. It could be something super simple and easily fixable :)

The most common cause of nose bleeds is because inside the noise is not moist enough. The best thing to do to prevent nose bleeds is to use saline drops to keep the nose moist, run a humidifier at night in their room to help keep it moist throughout the night, and acidic fruit also help prevent nose bleeds. You can also talk to your doctor because it could be because of allergies.

i would get nose bleeds like that as a kid also, just give me a funny look and it was pouring. they checked everything from my blood presure to taking out my tonsles and adnoids thinking that they could be the problem, my dad was talking to his chiropractor one day and happened to mention it, he recomened brining me in (what could t hurt right) he discovered after an exam that i had a pinched nerve in my neck we started tretments (1 weekly to start the first month ) and after the first month i never had another unexplained nose bleed. now as an adult i get headaches periodicaly but a quick massage will make it go away.

I was told by a Dr to NEVER use vasaline... believe it or not it dries not moistens... weird, but true. Also, I used to have MAJOR nose bleeds growing up. I would be reading a book at school & it would just start pouring. I remember several teachers & principal all in the nurses office freaking out several times. LOL! They could be the ends of capillaries & need to be cauterized.

My mom always used vaseline in the nose, and ran humidifiers...Luckily my kids weren't cursed with my nose! Good luck!
