Unless you can trace your problems directly back to your epidural and some sort of negligence on the part of the hospital, I would say you don't have a case.
You should honestly have been monitoring your condition from the first symptoms. It may be something easily fixable, or may have been easily fixable and will now be a lot harder because you waited so long, especially if it's gotten worse. Always address medical issues when they appear, don't wait, especially not years.

Have you even been in to get a diagnosis of what exactly is wrong? I've had 2 epi's, and no problems...

Oh, and not to minimize your suffering, but are you even certain that you didn't do something ELSE in those seven years to injure your back or nerves? I'm on the same page with Amy here, you most likely don't have a case at all, and I'm wondering if a physician would even make a connection between your current pain/issue and the epi that you had 7 years ago.

Your best bet is to be evaluated by a physician, WITHOUT mentioning that you want to sue for pain and suffering for the epi, but telling them TRUTHFULLY all of your symptoms.

FYI, my hubby has same symptoms. It's a crushed Femoral nerve in his leg...go get checked out.

No you probably don't have a case. First if all there was 7 years before there was a problem if I'm reading your post correctly. I'm also pretty positive that you signed a release saying you were aware of all the potential side effects from having an epidural. I also think you would have a hard time finding an attorney to take your case.
