Son not adjusting after move

We moved interstate about 10 months ago, at first everything seemed to be going fine, but my 5yo has recently started acting out at home and school, he screamed at his teacher and called her stupid- very out of character. He keeps saying it is too hot here, and that he hates it and wants to go back. I have tried to find out if anything has been happening lately to bring this on, but am getting conflicting answers. His older brother understands that this is a much better place for us to be, but all my little one sees is that he misses his friends. He has gone to school discos and stuff, I am trying to get the money up to let him join a sport, and we have joined the library but story time is during school hours. He does have some friends at school, but not very many. My husband does class stuff with them and told me that the other kids try to be friendly and that it is actually our boy who rejects them. Does anyone have any ideas how to make him feel more at home in our new town?

Be stable, peaceful and there for him. A happy home, a nice bedroom, a hobbie that he really can get into, and time. He'll settle in his own time. It can take a while for some children, longer than others. Good food, enough sleep and exercise and fresh air. x
