tonsils and adenoids surgery for my 7 year old

I just need to vent a little bit, my 7 year old daughter had her tonsils and adenoids removed on 8/1/11 because they were hugh and she talked like she had marbles in her throat all the time. She snored loud and had eposides where she stopped breathing whiel she was sleeping. She als complained of sore throats all the time. So we finally got them removed but she has been in so much pain since then, that I feel so bad for her. I hate when my children are in any type of pain and I am having a hard time with this. I just really want her to get better. She is usually so full of joy and happy, the house seems so quiet with her not talking and laughing. I am so sad. She doesn't hardly eat and barely drinks. I have to force her to drink, she is so afraid of swallowing anything (which is expecting). I thought ice cream was suppose to make her feel better but she doesn't seem to want it. She is losing weight and the medicine they gave her is so strong that she lays around all day with a low grade fever. The low grade fever goes away and then comes back. I can't wait until my little girl feels back to herself. Sorry to vent, had to get it out.
