Heritage Album

I feel like I've bitten off more than I can chew! My Grandmother passed away last Christmas and when my Aunts and Mom decided I should inherit her antique dining room suite I was extremely surprised and excited. In my gratitude I found myself offering to take all of Grandma's photo albums and loose pictures and scrapbook family albums for the three sisters.
Has anybody out there tried to do a heritage project?
Most of the hard to recognize pics are from England - Hastings in East Sussex area, and they're from the early 1900's.
Has anybody heard of any cheap resources in this kind of research? Help Please!

Wow, sounds like a huge endeavor! I have all my family's photos sitting in one of those huge CM power sort boxes. I haven't even touched it but I did re-do my parents' wedding album as it was in sad repair. When chatting with the LSS as to how to proceed, they commented when you have a whole family's picture collection, you might want to scrapbook all of it and then take it to the printer to have copies made for each family member so you're only scrapbooking once essentially. I don't know how to help you research though. Good luck!
