Hi, I'm a new member, and the mother of a two year old daughter, named Delaina. I love to scrapbook, but have a little trouble finding the time to do so. I've been working on the same scrapbook for about 6 months, and only have about 5 or 6 pages done!

I am new mom and one way that I solve the time thing is I go to a scrapbooking night out. I am not sure if you scrapbook with a group or not. I am a very avid scrapbooker and supporter of creative memories. You can go onto the website and do a consultant locater and find a consultant near you. Some consultants have scrapbooking nights or weekends once a month and you can just go and work on your books. When I started scrapbooking this way I wasn't a customer from the consultant I went to, however she allowed me to come anyways. It gets me out one night a month and gives me about 6 hours of non-interrupted scrapbooking. As well as some time to me! Highly recommend it.

I am also a new member and I was just going to share how I keep mine going. I have four boys 8,7,5,4 they keep me extremely busy. I have been doing a scrapbook for each year for each of them. I started with their baby books (birth -1) and then just keep going. I am now just starting on year 2 for each boy. When I do have time I know right where I am at.

It's good to know I'm not the only one who's been working on the same book for what seems like forever.

I'm a mum of 5 so I understand the no time thing. I'm still trying to finish my wedding album as well. Married 2006. Slow & steady is the way.

Hi Lisa,

I am new too and don't worry. It will get better as your daughter gets older. I am joining and starting more crops so I can get out of the house and be with adults!!! LOL!

Welcome to the "group" Lisa....you are not alone, It's tough to find time to scrap being a mum. I was married in 2005, and am still working on the same wedding album. Main thing i think is to set a goal, make time, ya know. I've been trying to work more on my album lately, usually setting the goal to get a page spread done every week, it may not be much but it'll get the job done.....often I'll put on a movie for my (almost two) year old daughter and start working on the layout then, or there's always naptime, and/or after bedtime....good luck :)
