This is something I am very interested in getting started. Anyone have any ideas to start me out???

The easiest way to get started is with some one-on-one help. If you have a friend or relative that scrapbooks, then I'd get her to give you a little guidance in the beginning. Do you have any local scrapbook stores? If so, most offer classes - including beginner's classes - which is a GREAT way to get started.

If neither of those is an option, then just tackle it on your own. My biggest tip would be to try not to feel overwhelmed. There are a million products and tools available and you don't need them all (actually you don't *need* most of them). It might be easiest to start out with one small album that is all the same theme - something like a wedding or baby album, or a scrapbook of just one vacation, etc. You could purchase a kit that goes with that theme and start from there. This will help you get a *taste* for the hobby and see if you are willing to invest more time and money into it later.

I hope that was at least somewhat helpful :)
