I just finished a scrapbooking/craftroom in my basement. My 9 1/2 year old and 6 year old daughters were supposed to use it for crafting, but now they think their scrapbookers too! Another generation is born! Do they have to scrapbook every time I'm scrapbooking???? UGH!!!

Hi Suzi,

Well, I converted what was our playroom, tiled the floor (left the built in toy boxes, figured I could always use extra storage). Depends on your budget.....I had a closet organizing company build a unit in the back.....two sets of three drawers, three sets of two shelves....if that makes sense. I got a table at IKEA (I live in PA where a store is very close by, but you could order on line). They have it listed as a dining room table and it has an extra leaf that hides underneath to make the table bigger (I am in a scrapbooking group of 4 women and we meet monthly, switching houses, so I needed good space.) Then I ordered folding chairs on line at BIZCHAIR.com. I had to order online because I wanted red. Target had black with vinyl padding, but I was stuck on the red. Tomorrow night is our first Scrapbooking Group get together since I got the room done, so I'm psyched. Does that help any?

LOL!! Scrapbooking goes much faster for me when our 5 year old boy is not insisting to stamp a page, and use every gadget I own!! I am totally with you.
