My girlfriends and I pick one Saturday a month and scrap from 1pm until we get tired...usually about 1am. Our husband's know well in advance when the next get together is and they know they are responsible for the kids that day...or they go to Grandma's house! I can get SO much done in that one day!

My recent solution has been to create pages first and them put pics in later!

I use the CTMH kits and it has really helped me. I get a bunch of girls together once a month and we do 6 pages. Then we add pics later. Right now, I have 6 christmas pages ready and waiting for my photos!!!

I have two suggestions for you:
1- small projects. I am learning to get away from the "chronological" type of scrapbooking and just scrap anything that speaks to me... so when I am in the mood, I sit down and scrap a page or two, or a mini book, and I'm still capturing our life, just not having to go through a back log of photos to get "caught up" (which will never happen)
2- find a group and go on a scrapbook retreat. I do this 2x a year (winter and end of summer) I get TONS of pages done (that's when I do the chronological stuff) and get to rest and relax and enjoy my friends. Some of the ladies I see only at these retreats, but we have become very close friends over the years.

Hey Hun. I have had the same problem for 4 years. I have just desided that i cant get everything done at once, like i use to. If i have a big clean task i have to do it in stages, and now that my daughter is 4 she loves to help. So i think and hope that it gets easier as the kids get older!!!!!!
