What do you do when you have an idea in your head for a page but it's not exactly coming together on paper??

I am an avid scrapbooker, just starting back into in the evenings as my days are busy with my 2 under 2

Check out an idea book, those are really helpful. I have a ton of them and when I am stuck on my creativity, I go and look at Scrapbooking magazines or books to give me some great lay-out ideas!

If you are having trouble coordinating colors, try checking out the CM power palettes. They do the coordinating for you!!

I stop and work on a different page. Usually when I come back to the first, I'm able to make it work. My pages rarely come out exactly how I first intended, but they usually end up looking great, even if they are different.

I have had a layout all planned out and for some reason it wasn't working for me.I couldn't NOT think of what to do to love it. I changed the color scheme and my creative juices just took off. It's funny how if you change one little thing it just might work. Good luck

I gather my papers, embellishments and photos and then look through my sketch books if nothing comes to mind. Sometimes just drawing a sketch on paper gets the juices flowing.

Hi! I try laying it out several different ways using different papers and embellishments. Try thinking of a catchy title or theme to get your ideas going. Have you tried looking at scrapbook magazines and "scraplifting" part or all of the layout?
