Does anyone else have a climber? Gavin has started climbing out of everything! I lowered the mattress on his crib to the lowest it will go and he still climbed out this morning. He climbed out of the pack and play at his dad's house this weekend too. He doesn't fall out or anything he just climbs. I open the door of his room in the morning and he is walking around his room. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just wanted to share - I have seen lots of posts about crib climbing and we found something that works!!! There is a woman who makes sleepers on Etsy to stop crib climbing. She had good reviews, but we were still hesitant. My husband insisted we give it a try. I am pleased to report that they work like a charm! My daughter was unable to lift her leg high enough to climb out. I ordered a couple of months ago and she is still happily and safely in her crib at night. I want to shout it from the rooftops!

Do you still have the bumper pad in the crib? I had to take mine out because my son was using it to climb up on!

I have the same problem with my sweet daughter! she is a lover of climbing since she start moving and I'm really tiered of that. She climbs on the dinning table and I had to remove the chairs but still she finds ways to climb it using her car or any other toy! she can now simply climb to the TV table and play with the LCD TV all the time! When I put her on her food seat and tie her she simply go out of the belt like Hodeny and climb and stand on the seat edge! and she climb also her bed eventhough it is on the lowest level! I can't use Toddler bed because If I did she simply will not stay on it at all! Even the stroller she is not setting on it when we are out and she climbs it untill she reach me on the top! what can I do to let her stop? I'm really exausted of that!

i have a non-stop climber son too!! yep...a change to a toddler bed helped.....does anyone have any good ideas on how to get him from climbing onto the dining table other than removing the dining chairs? He seems to favour it a lot....and it's awfully tiring to constantly put him back down! :(

I have that monitor too but I quit using it long ago.  Maybe I should drag it back out.  At least it would give me a heads up.

I just caught my son trying to do this the other day, I have an alarm on his bed it goes under his mattress. We got it when he was born it was for sids but now I am glad I still use it. After 20 seconds of no movement it sends out this awful beeping noise and thats how I found my kid half way out of his crib. I would say go for the toddler bed with a rail.

Awesome for your young man, but I believe now's the time to change the crib to the toddler bed, if it does that. I'd say the crib's doing him more harm than good if he can climb out of it. Best wishes
