my son is 16 months and he absolutely loves to take off his diaper and it dissappears every time generally he likes to pee on the floor and if he poops it ends up all over the crib. we have tried putting him in pants but he takes them off also. he has learned how to unbutton his onzies aswell. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would say it is already potty training time too. Another thing you could try is putting on the diaper then the plastic training pants if not anything else it will slow him down..lol Good luck

Duct Tape! Put it around the diaper so the ends of the tape are in the back. Make sure it's not so tight that it hurts him and make sure the tape doesn't touch the skin, just the diaper. I had a foster child who did the same thing. He could get out of footed pajamas by crawling through the neck hole, never unzipped them. I thought of tape, but worried about the legality of it. I called the social worker, after making sure with her higher ups she told me it was fine as long as it wasn't too tight and didn't touch skin. He still got out of his pajamas, but at least stayed in the diaper. And I had no morning messes to clean up.

I always mention cloth diapers and my love for them in these types of posts. There are some where the velcro is in the back (gdiapers) or they snap (Fuzzi Bunz &etc) just an idea. Although if your LO is stripping off all of his clothing I'm thinking putting a diaper on upsidedown or backwords will not be much help---lol. I second the tape... but if he's skinny he may just slip that off as well. Maybe try intro'ing the potty (i'm usually not for this but if's he's undressing that's one key point in Potty learning)
Best of luck!

Maybe its time to start introducing him to the potty... thats usually a good sign he is ready.

oh, wow. um...maybe one diaper on regular, one backwards, with medical tape?? a little extreme, but it'll take less time than pickin up poopies everywhere...
