Zacheary hasn't eaten baby food in a good 3-4months, for 2reasons. 1- He wanted what everyone else was eating, we started out with just soft things like mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, bread, ect and now he eats just about everything we do. 2- He's prone to yeast infections, most prepared baby foods have a tomato base to them and his dr thinks the acid foods are what cause them. We have quit acid foods and havent had a yeast infection since :)

My son is starting to do that too! I'm just giving him what I eat, because that's what he wants. I'm only sad about the refusal of baby food, because he's starting to refuse yogurt too because it's a smooth texture. He will eat it only if I eat it or look like I'm eating it. Spices & seasonings aren't bad, as long as whatever food you feed him isn't spicy hot. My son tends to prefer the seasoned stuff to the unseasoned; I can't blame him, I wouldn't want to eat that bland stuff all the time either! We've also upped the amount of finger foods, I usually make whatever I'm eating into small bites for him that work as finger foods (like chicken).

Yes we have. He has been off baby food for a couple of months now honestly. My son did the same thing one day and wouldn't eat baby food at all anymore. He has been eating what we eat just blended up for a couple of months now. Now he is to eating finger foods more than blended and mashed. Whatever we have just cut up into smaller pieces for him to handle. I just make sure that when I cook get his dipped out before I do any heaving seasoning or adding any sauces.

My son has been off baby food since 7 months. Neither one of my kids liked baby food!! I just give him soft food like steamed vegies or soft fruit that he can eat with is hands!! Also any soft cracker that he can gum (animal crakers)

Hi, my son turns 1 on 29 September and I have taken him off baby food at about 8 months, as he did not want to eat the baby food anymore. He now eats almost everything we eat and especially loves sweet potatoes.

My daughter would not eat baby food. She did't like the way it felt, still will not eat applesause. Her ped. said that was fine as long as it was not something she would have trouble chewing up. Now at a year she eats everything that is given to her and is always willing to try something new.

My baby usually eats what I eat, but occasionally I'll give her baby food if I think my food is too spicy for her. Just yesterday I attempted to give her carrots and mixed chicken but she spat it out. She'll take a few bites and get bored with it.

Rylee has been off baby food since 9 months. The doctor said around 9 months babies usually start wanting only normal food!

Kendall hasn't eaten any baby food since she was 10 months old, and she ate it rarely for 2-3 months before that. She just completely lost interest. She's been eating whatever we eat since

Does he show interest in other things? Like whats on your plate or does he want the bottle more. Mine did the same thing. She wanted what I was eating instead.
