My son is a month and a week old. I had him on similac because that's what the doctors gave him at the hospital But after a week he was throwing up bottle full. So I switched him to enfamil newborn and that makes him spit up a lot and keeps him up same with enfamil infant and the enfamil infant makes him constipated. I hate to switch him formulas again because it would be the fourth one already. But I hate to see him like this, anybody have success with a formula for reflux?

My son is 9 weeks old and has reflux. He currently takes the highest dose of Zantac that he is allowed. His pediatrician recommended Enfamil AR. It has rice in the formula to make it thicker. My son, however was not able to tolerate that formula because he has other GI issues. So, I just add a tbs of rice to his formula that he has been on. He spits up much less and is more comfortable. I have also heard of people adding baby oatmeal instead of rice to formula. Just remember to upgrade the nipple to a larger hole so your baby can still get enough. (Make sure they aren't choking & getting too much though) :-) Hope that helps!
