Ok I NEED some help here or advice. I have a 3yr old boy N he was going to the potty a while back more then he is now. Some changes happened in his life N may be the reason of this backward progress.

;)What do I do to get him to go potty now?

I keeo an eye on him, for smell, looks and actions. But then when I think he has to go he will run away from me or go ask for a diaper. I won't give it to him and I sit him dwn N tell him the situation. If he feels the need to go to go potty or tell me, this and that. He says he understands, I tell himk he won't get any treats for the entire day/or have time out /corner time, if he goes on carpet or on himself.. but tht doesn't seem to make him wanna go on the potty any more then b4...

My son went through a regression like this while potty training. I ended up having to make a game of it. He was completely potty trained last christmas, then my ex and i split up and we moved and this triggered his regression. My son is Autistic so i have to watch any major changes in his life, so when he regressed and he would absolutely refuse to go potty, i tried anything i could to make it a fun game. i tried having him sink the cheerio's, i would wrap little gifts, like a small 50 cent toy from the dollar store in gift wrap and offer him a bucket of surprises when he went. this really worked well cause he loved opening up the gift and being surprised by it. i would even wrap little pieces of candy, or fruit snacks, and i bought him about 3 new packages of underware, i wrapped them up like a gift, and made a huge deal of this wonderful present he was going to get when the bucket of goodies was gone, and he was going potty all the time like he was suppposed to!!!
