Does someone knows if the IRS gets involved in the child support establishment? Well the thing is that I get pay in check but I get some money in cash too, so I don't know if the IRS gets involved or not? Please help, I am desperate. I reported the total amount of what I make on a monthly basis including the cash but will I get in trouble with the IRS...

I would assume that they don't get involved, only because child support isn't claimed on your taxes. If you get paid child support in cash, that only hurts him because it doesn't go through the state as proof that he has paid anything. Child support is considered a type of income, but you do not pay taxes on it, therefore you don't claim it. Hope this helps!!!
