How do you feel when daddy comes to take baby for a few days??

Honestly, when I see his car pulling away its liike my heart my breaking. I'm so attached to my son that it just pulls at my heart strings to see him leaving. Plus I get more paranoid than I usually am.

Truthfully, I won't let my son's father take him for more than 24 hours at a time. But I don't trust him. No matter what it's always gonna hurt, my heart breaks when I drop him off for a couple hours on the rare tri annual night I go to a movie!!! The most important thing is your child. If he's a good father and you trust that your son is being cared for properly, stop yourself from thinking about the pain of the separation and concentrate on what it enables you to do for your the form of doing for yourself. We can't watch them 24/7 no matter what, but if you don't have any great fears, keep a positive attitude about him spending time with his father. If it's a negative situation for him...know your rights, your son's rights and use them! I have been to a lawyer several times since I found out I was pregnant and am glad for the information!!! It's one more tool I have to protect my son.

my daughter doesnt go overnight yet but when she gets picked up on sunday mornings or he takes her straight from daycare and i dont see her till 5 or 6 at night i feel like i've missed a huge part of her life and a part of myself while shes gone half the time i dont know what to do with myself and am constantly talking about her

I wasnt aware that some states allow the father to take a young baby for overnights. I know in Collin County, TX that baby only visits with daddy during the day and overnights do not happen in the custody arrangments.

Anyways I feel for you, I know it is hard but it will get better and just be glad that the father will take care of your baby, instead of focusing on your baby being gone, take this time to focus on yourself. Do something fun, get out and excercise so you will be happy, call up a girlfriend to go out for lunch or dinner, go rent a bunch of movies and stay up late! It will be fun if you make it fun. Good luck!

Hi Nicole

Sure thing it is very very very hard it only gets easier when the child can talk and tell you the you himself he is happy to go

It is a good thing the baby has a father in his life ...

God Bless you ...
