My son visits his dad one night a week, usually he comes home fine but sometimes he comes home & he cries or hides in a corner & yells at me. I let him have his temper tantrum then pick him up, sit him on my knee & tell him that he cant behave like that with me. I let him have the tantrum coz he needs to express his feelings as he doesnt like his dads live in girlffriend. when he finished we just sit down, have a cuddle & a chat 7 within 15min he back to normal

My daughters sometimes have a difficult time transitioning back to my house after spending a few hours with their dad that they really only see every few months because of the military. My girls (ages 6 & 3) question my rules and try to push their boundaries more after they come back home. I have found that when I remind them that it is my house and what I expect from them, they do behave better. My 6 year old is easier to reason with and explain why I expect her to behave certain ways. I don't know if this was helpful, but good luck!
