Okay granted I dont think I remember the first 5 years of my childrens lives but thats because i was a single mommy of newborn twins. They have been mine alway and there is no man to call dad. I don't have to discuss how I raise them, how I decide to school them, feed them, dress them, bedtimes, or anything else... It pushed me to get my degree to provide a better life for them. The father never even acknowledged their presence.. So he is not on the birth certificate. It has been a blessing is disquise. I also have a 6 year old boy who I raise alone along with the twins. The father has 2 subatatiated neglect and abuse accusations against him by Child Protective services... SO I will be a single mommy now forever.. Its not a fairytale, but it works for me. I believe this is my job to raise them and keep them safe and educate them untl the kids are 18 and then I can resume my life. I made the choice to have them, so now it s my duty is to raise them the best way I possible can.. so far so good... are there other moms that feel the same??

I also enjoy being a single mom, I am very glad that my daughter has a relationship with her father for her sake, but it sucks for me.  Going back and forth to court for custady and chid support. If I ever get pregnant again I wil not let him (the father know):)I
