... but my milk production has gone way down. What can I do to bring it back up? I'm a single mom with a 3 month old and don't get enough sleep so more rest is out of the question. Help!

eat more sweet potatoes, drink more water, pump when she is not nursing and make sure that you get enough food. Breast milk comes from your nutrients so you need to make sure you have enough.

Keep your stress levels down. Nurse as much as possible and pump, your milk supply will go up if your body thinks its needed.

You can try Fenugreek, which is an herbal supplement. Take the suggested does and do it three times a day (yes, three times the amount on the bottle). You're diet has a lot to do with it as well - try eating more oatmeal. Also, a beer every now and again will help (it's the hops, so you can opt for non-alcoholic if you'd like). Check your stress levels. I know it sounds weird, but play with your nipples and massage your breasts in between feedings to get more let downs. Keep trying, you can do it!!

I went to my doctor as I was stressed out and my milk production dropped. She prescribed me a medication that is typically given to mothers with twins to help produce more milk. This helped me increase my production.
