kids seem to know when to push the buttons....i find that if im in a bad mood or really exhausted then the kids are real buggers....

what ages are your kids....mine are 17yo 3 1/2yo and 2yo... what a combination....

if you are finding that you are really stressed maybe you should talk to your doctor.... or maybe find a support group in your local area....

you are not alone, being a single mum is bloody hard work...

take care...

Have you got any support from friends or family? Just talking to someone will lighten the load. How about counsellling services? Number one priority is looking after yourself! Try and find some time to yourself, indulge a little, do something for you.
I try to praise my troublemaker (6 year old) whenever she is behaving, it seems to work better than negative talk. My kids love spending one on one quality time with me but this doesn't happen often and I do feel a little guilty but as a single mum we have to realise our limitations. With my 16 year old, I try to respond calmly to her instead of reacting, things don't seem to go totally out of control then (most of the time). I have to admit though that three of my four kids are pretty good. But...if I'm feeling tired I will go have a nanna nap or leave the dishes till morning, if I feel like chillin out I will get on facebook, pick up a book or go outside. Just try not to tough it out on your own. Good luck.

I am a single mom of 21 month old twin boys. I know what it's like to be burned out. I am also in the process of finding a job and a car. I live at home woth my mom but she is never here. Anyhow, you are not alone. Just think of all the fighting that doesnt happen and how much more stress could be in your life. Just take it slow and a little at a time. Just make sure your kids are happy and healty and everything else will fall into place. It may not happen the way you want it to, but it will.

I hope you get feeling better, I don't know what you need to hear but I have been there too. Just take it day by day.

And if you just need to chat I am here!
