I agree its wrong, but then again when i was living rural was a little walk to the letter box and if kids were asleep and only if asleep i would quickly lock the house and run down. I knew my kids couldnt cause harm as they couldnt leave there rooms.

But to the shops no matter how conveiniant is wrong. A 5 and 2yo is able to walk so I dont see why they should be left at home.

Child protective services should be called. NO convenience is worth the life of your children, and there is no excuse to ever leave chilren that young alone.

If authorities found out she was doing this, they could take the children from her because it could be considered reckless endangerment. The kids are way too young to be left alone, even for a minute. Anything could happen!!

I remember a story in the news about a single mom who left her 9yr old home with her 2yr old sister while she was in another apartment in the same complex and it caught on firer because the little girl was hungry. Both kids died! Now the question is do you think that it's right for her to do that?

I see why she would do it, making such a big deal of a short journey with 2 kids in tow. I dont think it is right though.... there are alot of 'what-ifs' involved, i dont think i could do that!
